Winter hiking
The Valle Isarco is the right place for anyone who loves to explore the winter landscape on groomed hiking trails.
Walking through the winter landscape away from the pistes, recharging your batteries in wintry nature and feeling the tranquillity with body and soul, the Valle Isarco offers plenty of possibilities for winter hiking. Highly recommended are hiking tours to the Fanis Alm - the most beautiful alpine pasture village in South Tyrol, into the Valle Altafossa near Maranza, to the plateau of the Rodengo/Luson Alm, the route from Naz to Rasa and from the Kreuztal valley to the Rossalm on the Plose.
Also worth a detour is the Val di Funes, home of Reinhold Messner, with its many hiking trails facing the Odle di Funes. One of the more extensive tours leads along the route from the impressive Villandro Alm to the Corno del Renon, which offers a wonderful panoramic view to the mountain world of South Tyrol.
